Many system administrators prefer to only install packaged software. But despite over 3500 CPAN modules are packaged for Debian and its derivatives, it might happen that your needed module is not yet packaged. But don't despair! This talk will come to the rescue. :-)

Within the 20 minutes of the talk, we'll have a look at which tools are needed, create a usable package of a CPAN module not yet in Debian and will have a short outlook how and where to contribute new perl-related packages to Debian proper.
