We have now published the schedule for this year's Swiss Perl Workshop, see the link on the left. Note that this may change slightly, to accommodate any additional talks that are submit.

Perl and Gaming? Sure!

04/06/18 09:09 by Lee Johnson

Curtis "Ovid" Poe, an experienced Perl developer and consultant, will be the Keynote Speaker for the Swiss Perl Workshop 2018. He is active in the Perl community as member of the Perl Foundation Board Committee, author of "Beginning Perl" and of many CPAN modules. And there is his latest child, the Science Fiction based Massive Multiplayer Online Browser Game "Tau Station".

The Swiss Perl Workshop is taking place in Bern on Friday 7th September 2018 and Saturday 8th September 2018.

We encourage you to submit talks and we welcome a broad range of subjects, your talk does not have to be specifically Perl related. Share your experience with others, be it your daily messing around with bugs or rocket science!

We look forward to seeing you in Bern this September.

Announcing The Swiss Perl Workshop 2018

23/02/18 10:24 by Lee Johnson

We are delighted to announce The Swiss Perl Workshop 2018. This year the workshop will be held in Bern at Gewerblich-Industrielle Berufsschule, a technical and vocational school. The workshop will be in English, although of course other languages are welcome.

The workshop will take place on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th of September 2018 and thanks to the generosity of GIBB the workshop will be free to attend. As the venue is a technical school we hope to attract students and teachers, so this year's workshop may be an ideal place to promote Perl to those who have not yet heard of or used the language.

Please spread the word, register, submit talks, and come enjoy a perl workshop in Switzerland's historic capital city. You will find more details over the coming weeks added to the official workshop site.

As always, many thanks to our sponsors:
