Born 1965, University in Karlsruhe (Mathematics & Informatics as minor)
I worked mostly in IT-related areas in Germany and since 1995 in Switzerland. I do Software development, architecture and training.
My first contact with Perl was around 1993 with Perl 4. Since then I have continuuously used it at least to some extent in my work, although the main development language of my work kept changing between Java, Perl, C, C++, Ruby and some others... I worked as permanent employee until 2007, being head of IT of a small holding in the end and from then on started working for my own company, mostly doing projects as a contractor. |
