Tuesday evening the workshop starts with a pre-conference meeting. Add yourself to the list in the wiki if you want to come.
On Wednesday registration starts at 9am.
Wednesday evening there is an optional dinner. We have still place for about 5-10 Persons. Tell us on wednesday morning if you want to join.
Thursday evening the Social Event takes place, which you automatically booked with your workshop ticket. Food, drinks and entertainment is included. Details follow at the workshop.
At the end of the workshop on Friday there will be a tombola, and maybe we can already announce where the workshop 2014 will take place.
You should already have an email in your inbox with a link to a survey of the workshop. Please answer the survey after the workshop.

Every attendee will get a conference bag filled with a T-Shirt (amongst other things).
Please remember to fill in your preferred shirt size (even if you have attended other Act-Conferences before).
Please try to register and pay early enough, because we have to order the shirts before the workshop. We will order some more shirts as a reserve, but if you register later than February 27th, then there is no guarantee.

From March 13th to 15th the 15th German Perl Workshop will take place at the Betahaus in Berlin.

Traditionally we organize a dinner for all on one of the evenings, the Social Event.
This will take place on Thursday. Unlike most of the times, it won't take place in a restaurant. Wait and see ;-)
Additionally we organize an optional dinner on wednesday.

For example you can find a list of hotels and see who is coming to the preconference meeting.
We are looking forward to welcome many interested participants. This is the first time for the workshop to take place in Berlin and we hope that you will enjoy it.
We want the participants to feel comfortable, so we would like to provide a workshop free from harassment and discrimination. Of course having fun is also an important thing, but in doubt better think twice about making a joke or not. Please talk to us if you have any problem at the workshop.

Here are the details for our Social Event and the optional dinner.
Please tell us for both, if you need special options, like vegan food.
SOCIAL EVENT
On thursday, March 14th, the Social Event will happen, which is included in the workshop ticket. Details on location will follow later. It's quite central and well reachable with public transport (Berlin-Friedrichshain).
We can have up to 150 people there. But initially we will offer it only for workshop participants. If we can see that there will be free places, then it's possible to bring your partner for about 45€.
There will be enough vegetarian food, and it will be labeled. Specials like vegan food we have to order in advance, so please tell us before.
OPTIONAL DINNER
For all who would like to eat together with the other participants on the first evening, or for those who don't know Berlin well yet, we will organize a buffet very close to the workshop, on wednesday, March 13th.
You can book this optional dinner when ordering the workshop ticket. This will help us planning. If you're not sure yet, you can contact us later. We'll try to update the status (if there are still free places) in the wiki.
Please also tell us here if you prefer vegetarian or vegan food.

The 15th German Perlworkshop is taking place from March 13th to 15th 2013 in Berlin. The main workshop language is german, but we also welcome talks in english.
We are ready to accept talk proposals. Usually we have 20 and 40 minute talks and Lightning talks (5 minutes).
